Tingtinga

Started by E.S.Tingatinga (died 1972) in the late 1960s, it has been passed down by several dozen people (Makwa people) who are almost all related by blood. It is a unique painting made with enamel paint on a rectangular building wall board. The motifs are deformed, vividly colored animals and birds, shamans, and village life of the past and present.
